Jack Carlson (born May 22, 1987 as John Carlson) is an American rowing coxswain and author. He won a bronze medal in the men's lightweight eight at the 2015 World Rowing Championships in Aiguebelette, France,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.worldrowing.com/athletes/athlete/42564/results/carlson-john )〕 and is best known as the author of the book ''Rowing Blazers'' (Thames & Hudson and Vendome Press, 2014).

Carlson earned a B.S.F.S. in Regional & Comparative Studies at Georgetown University's Edmund A.
